Is it made to Cary an ar rifle with straps etc to hold it in place Expert Answer

At 18" x 10" x 10" this pack is not intended to carry an AR. While in theory, an AR could b attached, the suspension system is not designed for this, and the pack would be unbalanced and unwieldy.

It's there a hook or pouch to hold the camelbak pouch (or similar product) vertically, inside the pack? Manufacturer Answer

Yes, there is a pouch on the inside of the Level III Assault Pack for the hydration bladder (2 Liter bladder not included).
