This may be a stupid question but I don't see a cable lead with a TP-120 male end in the pictures, is this able to connect to a PTT?

No it’s not, as I was disappointed to find out. It has no port for the Y harness to add comms. Only comm capability is NIB

What connection does this use for comms?

Something like a 2 pin on your baofeng’s, but you’ll need to buy the Peltor Extension Y Cable that is also on OpticsPlanet
