How are these packs with weather resistance? Can they be used for multi-day woodland excursions in snow and rain? Thanks. Expert Answer

The Mystery Ranch 2 Day Assault Backpacks are weather resistant and have waterproof zippers. They are not waterproof entirely but will hold up well on hiking or camping trips with intermittent snow and rain.

The stitching is great. Very well made over all. But it’s too big not to have a proper waist strap. The thin nylon webbing just doesn’t cut it with this pack full. Also it feels terrible with a plate carrier.

Not too big and not too small. Well made and thought out. The Y zipper arrangement is useful. It is a bit hard to pull through the main intersection of all three zippers. Tripod fits in side pocket and strap. Using it for NRL Hunter.
